An Arts & Crafts Oak Bureau Bookcase
With a pierced gallery, simple design and solid oak construction, this is a fine example of Arts & Crafts furniture. The fall front is supported by two lopers and the shelf is adjustable. It was made c.1910 by the well known manufacturer P.E.Gane.
110cm high, 74cm wide and 34cm deep.
In good condition with a pleasing colour and its original interior. The handles on the lopers are replacements, and that on the drawer may be as well, but they are sympathetic to the period. An old repaired crack to the gallery is barely visible.
