A 1950s 'Cumbrae' Dressing Table by Morris of Glasgow
With a striking walnut veneer, sycamore edging and blade-shaped legs, this dressing table is a fine piece of design and craftsmanship from the 1950s. It has two short drawers either side of a central long one, within which is the gold stamp for the 'Cumbrae' range of furniture by Morris of Glasgow. The mirror is in a fixed position and does not tilt, though it can be removed along with its frame if desired.
116cm wide and 56cm deep. The table top is 75.5cm high and the mirror 126cm high.
In very good and original condition. One front corner has taken a small knock to the edging and there is some foxing to the mirror.
