A Heal's 'Cottage' Oak Dresser
Designed by Heal's in 1914, and part of the 'Cottage' range of furniture, this oak dresser has two drawers, two cupboards, two shelves and a row of iron hooks. The simple style is enhanced by fielded panels between the cupboards and on the uprights, moulding on the underside of the cornice and turned wooden handles. It has no maker's mark but is a well-known design featuring in the 1918 Heal's Cottage Furniture catalogue.
137cm wide, 171cm high and 53cm deep.
In very good condition with the original finish cleaned and waxed. It comes with its key. Two of the handles have cracked and been repaired.
