A Cotswold School-style Sideboard by Alan 'Acornman' Grainger
This superb oak sideboard was made by Alan 'Acornman' Grainger in 1966 and closely resembles the Cotswold School designs of the Arts & Crafts movement. It has one long and two short drawers above four cupboards with octagonal fielded panels. The drawers and cupboards are all lined and shelved with oak. It has a canted front, exposed pegs, through tenons and stands on sledge feet with shaped aprons. His acorn signature and the date are carved into it.
176cm wide, 86cm high and 57cm deep.
It is in very good and original condition.
