An Arts & Crafts Oak Stick Stand by Shapland & Petter
This Arts & Crafts stick stand has a floral copper panel above a tiled back and painted drip tray. It has turned uprights and a shaped pediment above a bracketed shelf.
It was made by Shapland & Petter and, as examples are known to have been retailed by Liberty & Co, it appears in 'Liberty's Furniture 1875-1915' by Daryl Bennett.
It measures 71cm wide, 128cm high and 30cm deep.
It is in very good condition with no damage to any of the tiles. The copper is unpolished and with a good patina.
