A Yorkshire Oak Dining Suite by David 'Oakleafman' Langstaff
A former apprentice and craftsman with Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson, David Langstaff founded his own workshop in 1986 and adopted the oakleaf as his signature. This dining table and accompanying chairs are a 'Mouseman' design with classic features such as the adzed top, the lattice backs and the octagonal supports. Superbly crafted out of well-figured oak, each item bears a carved oak leaf.
The table measures 183cm long, 88cm wide and 74cm high.
The chairs stand 85.5cm high and 44.5cm wide. The seat rails are 46cm high.
The suite is in very good condition with the table top having been stripped and oiled. The chairs are all solid and the seats are in good order without stains or splits.
It is available to view in our Nottingham shop (please phone to make sure it is on display) or delivery can be arranged.
