A Pair of Cotswold School 'Bedales' Chairs
Designed by Ernest Gimson, c.1906, for the Bedales School, these handcrafted chairs are made of ash with rush seats. The chairs are not stamped but are most probably the work of Neville Neal and date to the mid-twentieth century.
They measure 46cm wide and 97cm high.
In good and original condition with some age-related blackening to the grain of the wood. The rush seats are in very good order.
