A Mid-Century Teak Sideboard by Wren Craftsmen
This Mid-Century Modern sideboard was made as a special commision by the Wren Craftsmen workshop and comprises a pair of cupboards, with a single shelf inside each, either side of a bank of four drawers. It is made of solid, well-figured teak and has concave metal handles. It stands on tapering square-sectioned legs and has a curved arpron.
One back leg has a carved wren and it bears a paper label stating: 'Hand Crafted by Wren Craftsmen, Carbuton, Worksop, Notts. England.'
It measures 76cm tall, 45.5cm deep and 152cm wide.
It is in very good and original condition. The top has a varnished finish whilst the rest is lightly polished.
